In celebration of the release of 'Amame', Mari Boine will be present in Backbeat Tromso on November 3rd, to sign copies of her new record. This will be hosted in collaboration with Tromsø World Festival, where Mari Boine and Bugge Wesseltoft will perform a show together on November 4.

The album ‘Amame’, produced by Norwegian jazz artist Bugge Wesseltoft shows a different and more mature Mari Boine, accompanied by Wesseltoft’s tender and responsive piano playing.Songs with seriousness and depth, sung by Mari Boine tells stories about love, human vulnerability, injustice, and struggle, but also about pride and dignity.
